To support the RLSS’s annual Drowning Prevention week, we’ve teemed up with the Danny Wood Life Saving Club to run a Free Water Safety and Life Saving Skill session on the final day of DPW this Saturday 24th June at 11:15.
This will be a fantastic chance to put in to practice some of the vital safety advice that has been shared during this important campaign.
What does this session involve?
  • We’ll work on building open water confidence, personal open water survival skills and learn how to rescue people that are in difficulty.
Who is this session aimed at?
  • Anyone over the age of 8, on the last few sessions we have had a mixture of adults and children, including a few families that took part in the session all together.
  • All participants must have a generally good range of health/fitness and are able to participate in physical activity.
  • All participants should be able to swim 25m, however if you cant then just let us know and we’ll tailor the session to support you.
Tickets can be found via the link below, as they are free, please can we ask that you only book if you are sure you can come. Otherwise you are taking a space from someone who could benefit from this vital session.
