At Salford Watersports Centre, we prioritise the safety and well-being of all participants. We are proud to hold an Adventure Activity Licence (AALA), ensuring high standards of safety and quality in outdoor activities. Additionally, we are accredited by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and Paddle UK, reflecting our commitment to excellence in watersports education.

We are fully insured with both public and employer liability insurance, offering peace of mind for all our activities. Comprehensive risk assessments are conducted for all sessions and are available upon request.

All our sessions and courses are adaptable to suit various educational goals and can align with the requirements of the National Curriculum for Key Stages 2, 3, and 4, as well as the GCSE syllabus.

Explore Our Watersports Packages:

Bespoke packages are available, but here are just a few of the options we offer to spark your adventure:

  • Taster Session (90 minutes): Experience the watersport of your choice. Available times upon request. Prices start at just £10 per pupil. Activities can be themed for fun or skill improvement.
  • Multi-Activity Morning or Afternoon (Half-Day): Engage in up to two different watersports. Choose from an AM or PM slot. Prices begin at £16 per pupil.
  • Full-Day Multi-Activity: A comprehensive day with up to four different watersports activities, including a lunch break. Flexible start and finish times available. Prices start from £28.75 per pupil.

Prices are charged per instructor with the standard ratio being 1-8, however this ratio is subject to change (reduce) depending on activity and requirements of each group. 

Special Discounts:

  • Multiple Bookings: We offer attractive discounts for schools and groups making multiple bookings. Perfect for regular sessions throughout the school year!
  • Off-Peak Discounts: New for 2024! Take advantage of our off-peak discount for bookings from September to March. Ideal for schools looking to enjoy watersports during the quieter months at reduced rates.
