Spring is almost here and with it, the reopening/re-starting of more activities at the Helly Hansen Watersports Centre at Salford Quays. Salford Community Leisure is encouraging people across Greater Manchester to have-a-go at something bit different and try watersports such as kayaking, wakeboarding,  stand up paddleboarding and even open water swimming. Every year, more and more people are trying watersports that are great for fun, thrills and fitness.

Whether you’re looking for something to do with older children, hard-to-please teenagers or groups of family and friends, watersports are guaranteed to entertain all.

The team here at the Helly Hansen Watersports Centre at Salford Quays are experts when it comes to looking after watersport novices and you are in safe, experienced hands.

The first time you try something adventurous such as sailing or wakeboarding you might have concerns that it will be a bumpy ride (it rarely is), or that you might not be very good at swimming in open water (no need to worry here, there are safety boats on hand following your close that will pick you up if you are in difficulty), so you’ll be able to kick back and enjoy the experience.

As the weather improves and you start looking for new experiences to tick off your bucket list or fill up you calendar with check out all the activities on offer here at the Helly Hansen Watersports Centre and see what’s on.

You must register online prior to taking part in any activities.
