Welcome to Salford Paddlesports Club

We are a friendly and supportive paddlesports club based at Salford Quays.

Our club accommodates a variety of paddlesports activities, including kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddleboarding. Members have access to the fantastic facilities and equipment at Salford Watersports Centre and the beautiful waters of Salford Quays. We aim to become heavily member-run and member-led, with opportunities for members to get involved in the decision-making process and shape the future of our club.

Our aims are simple:

  • Build a community: Our goal is to build a strong and supportive community of paddlesports enthusiasts who can come together to share their passion for the water.
  • Develop Paddlesports Skills: We aim to offer a variety of different coaching sessions to help members develop their paddlesports skills. We’ll encourage peer-to-peer learning, and we will progress together. We will also look at running British Canoeing courses and bringing in experienced coaches to run workshops.
  • Have fun on the water: Above all, we want our members to have fun on the water. Whether it’s exploring Salford Quays, participating in games such as Canoe Polo, or simply enjoying a leisurely paddle, we believe that paddlesports should be a source of joy and excitement for everyone involved.
