Looking for something active, exciting and a bit different this summer?

Our Multi Activity Week gives teens aged 12–16 the chance to take on a variety of water-based challenges across five action-packed days. With expert instructors guiding each session, participants will gain new skills, meet new people and enjoy the freedom of being out on the water.

What you’ll get up to

  • Learn & Develop your kayaking and paddleboarding technique
  • Build and race rafts
  • Take on water-based games and confidence-building challenges
  • Learn practical water safety and rescue skills
  • Work towards personal progression across the week

Session dates

This 1 week course runs from 9:30am – 12:30pm on:

  • Monday 27th July to Friday 31st July
  • Monday 3rd to Friday 7th August
  • Monday 10th to Friday 14th August
  • Monday 17th to Friday 21st August

Cost

£130 per child, per session.


Safety First

All activities are led by fully qualified, friendly instructors. We provide wetsuits, buoyancy aids and all equipment. Participants just need to bring swimwear, a towel, and a pair of old trainers or water shoes for the water.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the course start date by emailing us directly at watersportscentre@scll.co.uk. No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 7 days of the course starting. Cancellations made only through EOLA only will not be accepted.

Please note: there must be a minimum of 4 participants booked for this course to run. Whilst we don’t anticipate this being an issue due to the course’s popularity, if numbers are too low, we will contact you in advance.

Requirements

  • No prior experience needed.
  • Participants must be water confident. While they don’t need to be strong swimmers, they should be comfortable in the water and able to manage basic swimming movements.
  • A buoyancy aid will be worn at all times during water activities.

What to bring

  • Swimwear for under a wetsuit
  • Towel
  • Closed-toe shoes that can get wet (e.g. old trainers or water shoes – must be secure. No flip flops or sliders)
  • A drink and a snack
  • Sun cream
  • £1 coin for a locker
