Welcome to Salford Watersports Centre, located on Salford Quays where an exciting range of watersports activities await you. Activities are suitable for the absolute beginner and experienced watersports enthusiasts.
Autumn / Winter opening hours
Our opening times and days vary each week dependant on bookings.
- Monday to Friday – Typically 9:00am – 5:00pm with some late nights for activities and bookings
- Saturday – Bookings Dependant
- Sunday – 10:00am – 4:00pm

We are situated in the heart of Salford Quays meaning there are a number of different transport links to and from the centre.
By tram
There are 4 stops nearby, please visit the Transport for Greater Manchester website to plan your visit.

By bus
There are bus stops close by to the centre too, follow routes for the Lowry Outlet Mall.
By car
From the M60 take Junction 12 for the M602, exit at Junction 3 and follow the sign posts for The Quays. The Watersports Centre is located at 15 The Quays, next to The Beefeater Pub. Free on-site parking is available.
- We have a car park located at the back of our building. The majority of the time, the barrier will be down. If you are booked onto a session, please press the buzzer on the barrier and wait for a member of our team to speak with you. Just say your name and session and we’ll let you in. Parking in the centre car park is free.
- If our car park is full or not in use, you can park at the ‘Whitbread’ car park for FREE which is next door by the beefeater pub but you MUST come to our reception and scan the QR code which is located at reception. This will take you to a page where you register your car for that visit. Please note – we do not own or control this car park so please ensure you follow the above steps and register your car, make sure your phone has a QR scanner built in. Failure to do so may result in a fine.
