September Activities!

The summer may be on its way out but there’s still so much to do at the watersports centre! 

Check out what’s on this September!

Stand Up Paddleboarding and Kayak Hire: 

Our popular hire sessions are a great way to get out on the water! Perfect for a catch up with some friends, a solo paddle for some ‘me time’ or a great activity with the family! No experience is needed and the minimum age is 8yrs old. 

Please note, there may be extra sessions on top of the scheduled sessions below. These sessions will be added if we have space in our programme. If you click the book now button, you’ll be able to see the extra sessions on the calendar. 

  • Monday evening from 4pm (NEW) 
  • Wednesday evening from 4pm
  • Friday evening from 4pm 
  • All-day Saturday 
  • Sunday from 12:00pm


Adults: £10 – Juniors 8yrs+: £6 

Wetsuits: £4 (Optional)

Open Water Swimming: 

There’s still time to give Open Water Swimming a go this year! We’re running Swim 3 sessions a week throughout September, same times as usual however the evening sessions will start to finish earlier as we begin to lose some light. We’ll also be running Open Water Coaching throughout September. 

Times: (General Swim)

  • Tuesday 5-7:30pm
  • Thursday 5-8pm 
  • Sunday 08:45 – 11:45

 £5 per swim

Coached sessions: 

  • Intro To Open Water: Thursdays 17:45 & Sundays 09:45  – £16 
  • Open Water Development: Thursdays 18:00
  • Open Water Training: Thursdays 18:30 & Sundays 10:30 
  • 1-2-1: Thursday 18:30, 19:00 & Sunday 11:30 

October and Winter Sessions will be announced in the coming weeks 🙂

Our wake park is staying open for as long as possible this year! We’ve just reintroduced the Student Jams on a Wednesday afternoon and a general jam on a Friday afternoon.

Learn To Sup & NEW ‘SUP SKILLS’:

Since we launched our learn to sup sessions in July, the reception has been fantastic. We’ve introduced so many new people to this super sport! 

Throughout September, we’re continuing to run learn to sup sessions and have added a new ‘Sup Skills’ session for those who have either done the learn to sup session or have paddle boarded before. These sessions are the next step up and will focus on building your skills and confidence on a board. 


Learn To Sup: 

  • Monday 6th September 5pm & 6:30pm 
  • Tuesday 7th September (then every Tues in Sept) – 5pm 
  • Thursday 9th Septmeber (then every Thurs) in Sept – 6:30pm 

Sup Skills: 

  • Tuesday 7th September (then every Tues in Sept) – 6:30 pm 
  • Thursday 9th Septmeber (then every Thurs) in Sept – 5pm

Learn To Windsurf (NEW): 

Want to try out windsurfing? Then we have the perfect session for you!
This 90-minute session is aimed at adults and youths who have either never tried the sport before or have done a small amount and would like a refresh!
