We’ve launched the below courses specifically for juniors and we’ll be announcing extra courses, one-off tasters, and family sessions in the weeks to come.
Summer Holiday Courses
RYA YOUTH SAILING STAGE 1
This is the first stage on the RYA learn to sail pathway, suitable for complete beginners aged 8yrs+, join us for two days of fun on the water this summer and learn a new sport along the way!

RYA YOUTH SAILING STAGE 2
This is the second stage on the RYA learn to sail pathway, suitable for those aged to 8yrs+ who have completed their stage 1. Join us for 2 days of fun & learning this summer!

Multi-Activity Week Course 8 -16 yrs
Join our experienced instructors and try a number of fun and exciting watersports, including kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, sailing, and raft building. It’s the perfect opportunity to keep active, learn new skills, and make new friends.

Beginner Learn to Wakeboard (Recommended 10 – 16yrs) (Beginners only)
Try Wakeboarding here at the Salford Watersports Centre. No previous experience needed, our dedicated coaches will have you up and riding on our cable in no time!
During this five-day course, we will aim to have you riding comfortably in the neutral riding position by the end of the week.

Improver / Development – Learn to Wakeboard (Recommended 10 – 16yrs) (Previous experience recommended)
Develop your existing skills or learn new tricks with our dedicated coaches. We will have you shredding the park in no time!

RYA – Powerboat Level 1
The Powerboat Level 1 course is a great introduction to powerboating. On this course you will cover coming alongside, picking up a mooring, man overboard, being towed, low-speed skills, and also rules of the road. At the end of this course, we expect you to be able to drive a powerboat under adult supervision.
The minimum age is 8yrs

RYA – Learn To Windsurf (Stage 1)
This is an action packed 2 day course. We’ll work through the RYA youth windsurfing scheme and complete stage 1 and work on some stage 2 elements. Suitable for complete beginners or anyone that’s completed a windsurf taster session.
